My name is Moses Lane and I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama. After graduating High School, I attended Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama where I received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. After college, I decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia where I currently reside.
Presently, I am employed with Hillside Conant School where I am completing my fifth year of teaching. Prior to working at Hillside, I was a Third Grade at Hawthorne Elementary School (Clayton County) in Jonesboro, Georgia where I was employed for four years. Overall, I really enjoy teaching and making a difference in the lives of children regardless of their cultural, social, or economic conditions. I received my Masters in Elementary Education in May 2013. I chose this particular area of study to strengthen my professional development and knowledge. So far, I have really enjoyed the classes I have taken at the University of West Alabama and they have seemed to be of great importance in the classroom. This degree is one of the most important milestones I have accomplished. With hard work, perseverance, and commitment, I will continue to achieve my goal that I set forth and become an even greater inspiration to my siblings, nieces, nephews, and the students I mentor/educate.
